Dr. D,

Thank you for opening up your life for us! There are so many people who have been hurt and are never given the proper tool to resolve the hurt and heal from their pain. This work of art (your life) is the beginning step for many who are on their journey towards success! I appreciate your bravery on discussing sensitive topics in order to fulfill your dream of helping others and bringing awareness of those topics to the African American community when it's not the popular thing to do. You are already a success but I look forward to the further success of this project and the projects to come.

After reading It's Not You, It's Me! it has given me an glimpse of all the hurt and pain one young man has had to endure. Some people would have given up on life after all this young man has gone through but, his story doesn’t stop there. It’s a story of overcoming life’s most difficult situations and him be so transparent with his life so that others that who are or were in his situation may be able deal with and over come their situations. This young man has received beauty for his ashes.
